Angus Ridgway

Angus’ interest in leadership came from his astonishment at the diversity of leadership profiles he saw in clients and colleagues during his 20 year career in management consulting. At McKinsey & Company, he both led the Strategy Practice in Europe, Middle East and Africa, overseeing the work of over 1,000 colleagues, as well the Firm’s Partner Leadership Development function globally, where he helped to design and implement intervention programs to foster the development of leadership behaviors of 1500 fellow Firm Partners.

Tal Ben-Shahar

Tal is the author of the international best sellers Happier and Being Happy, which have been translated into more than 25 languages. He also taught two of the most popular courses in Harvard University's history on “Positive Psychology” and "The Psychology of Leadership" with a total of over 1,400 students. He has consulted and lectured around the world to executives on topics including leadership, education, ethics, happiness, self-esteem, resilience, goal setting, and mindfulness.

When you scratch beneath the surface of the plethora of lay words that are used to describe peak performance, you discover a set of common themes. Our work to consolidate 25 years of research into positive psychology tells us that five areas explain most of the variance of peak performance : Strengths, Health, Absorption, Relationships, Purpose.

We also see that people, teams and companies are all clamoring for more or less the same thing, even if the words used vary from company to company. These five themes make up the Potentialife SHARP framework.

When you try to foster top-of-game behaviors and attitudes deep into your organization, you quickly realize that traditional training methods such classrooms and coaches don’t provide results. They are difficult to scale, can be overly cognitive in nature, and often require too much time away form the job.

The way to bring about lasting attitudinal change at scale in your organization is to use the principles of neuroscience applied in a scalable process to help people re-engineer their personal operating models. Our LifeTuning process integrates these principles into a multi-month sequence of on-the-job behavioral experiments that allow people to trial, practice and ritualize new behaviors until they become habits, and thereby re-engineer their personal operating model.
